Braces, Drills, Bits & Accessories
Decided that even 50 was still to many braces, so I
put a bunch here. Went through the auger bits and kept 3-4 of each
size, the rest are here. Same for just about everything else drill or
brace related. I know some users like 2-jaw chucks, others 3-jaw, some
like springs, some don't. Then there's ratcheting and non-ratcheting
etc. So I tried to describe all these details. ASK ME ABOUT MY
MULTIPLE PURCHASE DISCOUNT - The more braces you buy, the more you save.
Info on shipping is in the link on the left. You can guestimate shipping from zip 85616, and keep in mind that I can cram at least 2, maybe 4 braces and a bunch of smaller bits in a flat-rate priority box. If you're way out on the East coast then that's usually cheaper than parcel post.

B7 Stanley #66* Made in England 2-jaw with springs (NOT a ratcheting, but it was in the picture so I left it here) $10.00
B8 8" 2-jaw with springs, Fray-style chuck but I can't find a makers mark. $8.00

B10 an unmarked 8" 2-jaw. Nice wood color. $5.00 gone MI
B11 an unmarked 7" 2-jaw, nothing special except the size is unusual. $7.00
B12 An unmarked 10" 2-jaw. $5.00 ALL GONE
B14 A 10" 2-jaw with springs, only mark I can find is #150A. $8.00
B15 A nice John S. Fray & Co #86, 8" sweep with that unique 2-jaw spring-loaded chuck. $15.00
B16 Red Devil 10" Model #A6-S 2-jaw, spring-loaded chuck. Nice brace, not a common name. $15.00
B18 Nice Goodell Pratt 12" 2-jaws with springs, 1892 patent date. $20.00
B19 A Stanley #945 10" 2-jaw with springs, plating is mostly gone. $4.00 SOLD
B20 Cross 10" 2-jaw with springs. Nice condition, unknown maker, more of a light-weight brace. $3.00
Chain Drill (B31)
Unmarked as far as I can tell, works fine. It's got a 2-jaw chuck with springs. $11.00

Forstner Bit for Brace (B38)
It's 8" long, 1-1/8" cutter. Marked on the tang "M Co. USA " and what looks like "ENTE". Also on the tang is what looks like 1-20 or 1-26. $6.00

Morse Twist Drill Folding Bit Holder (B30)
It's got a 1906 patent date on the front, so it's about 100 years old. It was very dirty, but I cleaned up most of it so now its just dirty. Folds up, or opens into a triangle. $12.00
