Bisbee -
There are 2 antique stores, one with tools in the basement at mile-high
prices, and another with a small selection very reasonably priced.
Plenty of mining related tools in the rest of the antique stores.
Everything is on the one main road in Bisbee, no need for a map.
Whetstone - I live here. No tools for sale. Nothing to see, just keep on moving!
Tucson -
22nd St. Antique Mall,
One dealer in the back middle with the good stuff, normally at or just
below book price. Another dealer has a small wooden machinist chest for
$295. It's been there at least 2 years so maybe he'll come down
if you ask.
Tucson -
Kent's Tools, 133 E. Grant Rd. He's got 3 big rooms piled with used
tools. You won't find planes but he's got crates of everything else.
Just don't try to bargain with him or offer to buy all his Yankee's
box-lot, he doesn't like that.
Tucson - The
Tanque Verde Swap Meet, which isn't on Tanque Verde anymore.

Ponchatoula
- (between New Orleans and Baton Rouge) Archie says to hit the antique
stores downtown. Coming from the north here's his directions:
Drive I-12 to Exit 40, drive about 2 miles, turn left on Hwy 21.
Downtown is about 1/2 mile east then. The best stop is on the left of
the HWY, but I can't remember its name. Once you get to the RR, park
and walk to the other dozen or so sites. The second best is south of
the HWY on the east side of the RR tracks.
